Ron’s Biography
Ron and his family began their ministry at Sabino Road Baptist Church on April 1, 2007. Ron has been active in student ministry since 1984 when he began teaching youth in his local church. Ron and Sheri were married on March 25, 1988. They love to spend time with their two teenage sons, Andrew and Philip.

Ron has a deep appreciation for the joys and struggles of today’s family. More importantly, he has an uncompromising conviction that God’s Word holds the answers and a passion to minister to families so that they too can come understand the hope that comes from a personal relationship with God. He believes the key to effective ministry is to develop and maintain meaningful relationships. He is passionate about introducing children to the Savior and then equipping them to live out their faith each day.

Ron has served as chaplain for Arizona Baptist Children’s Services and as a volunteer at Catalina Mountain Youth Detention Facility. Ron moved to Tucson from Las Cruces, New Mexico in 1980. While in Tucson Ron has worked with youth, served as a deacon and directed the homeless ministry.
